I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and my midwest upbringing is at the heart of everything I do. I truly believe that every day we are presented with an opportunity to create the person we want to be.
As my client, you will experience my core values of authenticity, excellence and integrity. We will work together in a strengths and values based environment to help you reach your goals.
Life is about creating yourself…
Let me assist you in discovering your true self and becoming the person you are meant to be!

Together we will cultivate inner strength and calm that don’t rely on external approval, circumstances, or constant problem-solving. It’s about developing habits, beliefs, and practices that allow you to respond to life with clarity, resilience, and a sense of self-worth rooted in who you are, not in what happens to you.
Core components
Self-awareness: Notice thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and triggers without judgment. Awareness is the foundation for choosing responses rather than reacting automatically.
Values clarity: Identify what matters most to you—care, honesty, growth, connection—and use those values as a compass for decisions and priorities.
Acceptance and commitment: Accept inner experience (thoughts, feelings, sensations) as normal human phenomena while committing to actions aligned with your values. This reduces wasted energy fighting what you can’t immediately control.
Emotional regulation: Learn skills to tolerate distress and soothe intense emotions so you can think clearly and act effectively when stressed.
Self-compassion: Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a close friend. Self-criticism undermines both peace and power.
Boundaries and agency: Know your limits and assert them respectfully. Saying no and protecting your time and energy are expressions of inner power.
Purposeful action: Power emerges when you take consistent, value-driven steps—even small ones—toward meaningful goals.

I utilize a variety of modalities and techniques but focus most on CBT and ACT because they offer practical, evidence-based tools that help clients change unhelpful thinking patterns and build meaningful, values-driven lives; CBT provides structured strategies to identify and reframe distorted thoughts and develop concrete behavioral experiments, while ACT emphasizes assists in increasing psychological flexibility —together they create a balanced approach that addresses symptoms, cultivates resilience, and supports lasting change.
-
Life is full of stressors so I like to keep things light hearted like a dialogue between friends.
I’m also a huge fan of dogs!
Petting or cuddling a pet can help reduce stress and calm your limbic system. That is why you may occasionally find my dog in the office!
